After earning her BFA in interior design from Parsons School of Design, Marissa Stokes began her design career at David Kleinberg Design Associates. In 2007, she joined Jayne Design Studio. Marissa was a scholarship recipient at the prestigious Victorian Society Summer School in London in 2015 and in Newport in 2014.

Her high school summers were spent painting furniture and taking interior design courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the School of Visual Arts. She has evolved into the studio’s expert in custom furniture design, she has a strong passion for creating new custom pieces for clients.
Marissa has worked on many important projects at the studio, including the president’s house at a prestigious ivy league university, a Montana ranch, a Creole townhouse in New Orleans, and a Venetian inspired villa along Palm Beach’s Inner Coastal. She is currently working on the renovation and decoration of an Upper East Side apartment in a building designed by Charles Platt.
