Flower’s September/October issue features a very special house, made for a client to house not only her art, but her guests too. Although the house is not very old, we imbued it with a sense of antiquity, reflecting our philosophy that great design is often a combination of the old and new, or as we like to say: ancient and modern. Quite literally in this case, as we incorporated nods to ancient mythology, fairytales and contemporary art – some of our client’s favorite things…and some of ours too, such as nods to the Aesthetic and Arts & Crafts movements.
