Thank you to Tony Freund for featuring our new Philadelphia high rise project. Working with our longtime client and their wonderful collection of antiques and furnishings we designed for their former home, it was a joy to give them new life in a contemporary setting. One of the home’s most special elements are the wall panels done by our longtime collaborator, decorative painter Pierre Finkelstein. Meant to give the impression of sheer draperies, they have a trompe l’oeil effect that, as the writer David A. Keeps writes, brings an unexpected sense of “old-world delicacy to the living area’s walls”.
