Pillar Awards, The Preservation League of New York State
Thomas Jayne and Jayne Design Studio received the Pillar Award from the Preservation League of New York State at a ceremony held at the Rainbow Room in New York City in November 2014. The PLNYS granted the award to Thomas Jayne for being one of the foremost practitioners of traditional interior design in America. As stated on their website, "for 25 years his New York firm, Jayne Design Studio, has created interiors lauded for their sense of history and place, expressing the personality of his patrons and contemporary comfort."
John Staub Award Jury for the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art Texas Chapter
The John Staub Awards program recognizes Texas based practitioners who are committed to promoting excellence in both classical and vernacular traditions. Winners and nominees are architects, designers, and artisans who are dedicated to the promotion of these traditions in Texas. All eligible projects work toward further building on the incredible legacy of John Staub. Thomas Jayne participated in the 2013 jury panel with architects Peter Pennoyer, Michael Imber and Duncan McRoberts.
